Want to learn more about René House CIC, and what we do?
We are a leading provider of supported accommodation across Nottinghamshire, offering quality housing and tailored support for homeless and vulnerable adults and families. Since 2018, we've been helping people transition from crisis situations to independent living through our services.
Supported accommodation goes beyond providing just a roof over someone's head. At René House, we provide people with a clean slate through our housing and tailored support packages covering different areas of development.
Our approach recognises that everyone learns and understands information differently, which is why we developed our unique Resident Journey methodology.

Our in-house support services include:
Many of our residents have been introduced to external services to learn new skills, gain qualifications, and secure paid employment. We've successfully supported repeat ex-offenders who, with our help, have abstained from re-offending for 12+ months.
The name René comes from the French word "Renaissance," meaning reborn or born again. This reflects our core mission of providing a platform for vulnerable adults to make meaningful and positive changes in their lives.
We understand that people work at different speeds and start from different positions. For some residents, the journey to independence may take weeks; for others, it may take years. We support each person at their own pace, recognising that occasional setbacks are part of the process.

Our residents consistently report improved feelings of wellbeing and mental health. With our encouragement, many have reconnected with estranged family and friends while building new social networks. Professional partners regularly commend our high standards and individualised approach.
If you're looking for supported accommodation in Nottingham or need to make a referral, René House CIC offers the stability and professional support needed for successful transitions to independent living.

Do you have skills that could help someone build a more stable future? As we develop The Hub in Nottingham, we’re looking to partner with organisations and individuals who can deliver practical workshops – from life skills to employability training – to support our residents beyond supported accommodation.

When we talk about homelessness, the focus is often on the point of crisis – when someone has physically lost their home. But the reality is, homelessness rarely happens overnight. Instead, it's usually the result of things slowly unravelling over time.
