Every year at René House, our team looks back through the previous year's report to gather the key data that shows our impact. Here's what our 2025 data looks like:

157 Adults Housed and Supported

157 vulnerable and homeless adults found stable housing and support through René House last year. Each person arrived with their own story, challenges, and reasons for needing supported accommodation.

That's a lot of people who had somewhere safe to sleep and somewhere stable to rebuild from, where they could access the support they desperately needed.

16,000+ Hours of Support Delivered

Over 16,000 hours of one-to-one and group support were delivered by our amazing support team throughout 2025.

Private support sessions, life skills training, crisis interventions, check-ins, goal-setting, advocacy, and just being there when someone needs to talk. So many hours put in by our team; showing up, building trust, and helping people move forward.

73 Residents Accessed Mental Health Support

Mental health challenges are probably one of the biggest barriers to maintaining stable housing and moving toward independence. 73 of our residents engaged with mental health support last year, prioritising their wellbeing while rebuilding their lives.

16 Ex-Offenders Didn't Reoffend

Breaking cycles of offending behaviour requires stable housing, genuine support, and opportunities. 16 residents with criminal backgrounds made it through 2025 without reoffending. They stayed on track and proved that with the right support, change is definitely possible.

12 Out of 15 Residents Reduced Substance Misuse

We’re really proud of this statistic – that's an amazing 80% success rate, and 12 people working through one of the hardest challenges anyone can face, making genuine progress and building healthier lives. Substance misuse recovery isn't linear, and there are often setbacks, but 12 people moved forward this year, and we are so proud of them for it.

35 Residents Gained Employment

Finding work when you're transitioning out of homelessness is incredibly difficult - you might have gaps in employment history, no stable address, transport challenges, or criminal records. But 35 people overcame those obstacles. They found employers willing to give them a chance, showed up, got out of their comfort zone, and rebuilt their professional lives.

21 Residents Took Up Volunteering

Volunteering in the community is a great way to build confidence, create routine, develop skills, and connect people to their communities. 21 residents discovered they have something valuable to contribute last year.

54 Residents Accessed Training and Education

It's important for our residents to learn new skills, gain qualifications, and explore their interests. Education and training open doors and change what's possible for their future. 54 people invested in themselves last year.

56 Residents Moved Into Their Own Tenancy

This is what it's all about. 56 residents successfully moved on from René House into independent tenancies last year. All those people who came to us experiencing homelessness are now living independently, managing their own tenancies, building their own lives.

The Work Continues in 2026

We know these are 'statistics', but they're real people too. Every single number here represents someone's life changing.

And as 2026 continues, the need hasn't gotten smaller. We're seeing more people with complex needs, more barriers to housing, more people falling through gaps in the system.

So we are as determined as ever to keep going this year, because all of these people deserve safe housing and support to rebuild their lives.
